We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
