Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
