Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3

Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59

True are the words of God the Almighty.
