AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
