The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 by Mount Sinai 2 And by this land made safe; 3 That We created man of finest possibilities, 4 Then We render him the lowest of the low. 5 except for those who believe and do good deeds -- theirs shall be an unending reward! 6 Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of the rulers? 8
