Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 for an appointed time". 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
