Remember the Day whereon We shall call all mankind with their record; then whosoever will be vouchsafed his book in his right hand, those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a whit. 71 Whoever lived in this world as blind shall live as blind in the Life to Come; rather, he will be even farther astray than if he were (just) blind. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; 74 In that case, We should have inflicted a double punishment in this life, and a double punishment after death. Then you would have found no one to help you against Us. 75 And verily they had well-nigh unsettled thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence. And in that case they would not have tarried after thee but a little while. 76 The tradition of the Noble Messengers We sent before you – and you will not find Our rules changing. 77
