(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
