And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
