But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
