Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
The chiefs of the people who did not believe and denied the life to come, though We had given them good things of this life to enjoy, (said): "He is only a mortal like you. He eats as you do, and drinks as you drink. 33 So if you follow a man like yourself you will certainly be doomed. 34 "Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)? 35 ۞ Such a promise will never come true. 36 There is naught but our life in this world; we die and we live and we shall not be raised again. 37 “He is just a man who has fabricated a lie against Allah, and we are not going to believe him.” 38 (The apostle prayed): "O Lord, deliver me, for they accuse me of lies." 39 [Allah] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful." 40 A blast struck them for a just cause, and We made them look like withered leaves. God keeps the unjust people away from His mercy. 41 Then We raised after them other generations. 42 No community can anticipate their term, nor can they lay behind. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Whenever a Messenger came to his people they rejected him, calling him a liar. Thereupon, We made each people to follow the other (to its doom), reducing them to mere tales (of the past). Scourged be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a manifest authority 45 Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they scorned (them) and they were despotic folk. 46 They said, "Should we believe in two mere mortals who are like ourselves and whose people are our slaves?" 47 Then they belied the twain; so they became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave the Book to Moses so that they may be guided. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and gave them shelter on a peaceful hillside watered by a fresh spring. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
