Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
