In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
