The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
