3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 He then shot a glance at the stars. 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
