Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
