When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 This which We recite to you is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is. 59 This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be in doubt. 60 Tell whoever disputes with you on this matter after true knowledge has come to you: 'Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and then let us pray together and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie.' 61 This is the true story (of Jesus). There is no Lord but God. It is God who is Majestic and All-wise. 62 And if they turn away, God knows well the evil-doers. 63
