And recite unto them the story of Ibrahim. 69 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" 70 They said, 'We serve idols, and continue cleaving to them. 71 He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? 72 Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?" 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 He said: See now that which ye worship, 75 you and your fathers, the elders? 76 They are enemies to me except the Lord of all the Worlds 77 He created me and He will guide me. 78 "Who gives me food and drink, 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 who makes me to die and then revives me, 81 Who, I hope, will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgement." 82 My Lord, give me judgment, and join me with the righteous. 83 And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; 84 “And make me among the inheritors of the Gardens of serenity.” 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 Do not degrade me on the Day when they are resurrected. 87 The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 except him who comes before Allah with a pure heart; 89 And the Garden will be brought nigh for those who ward off (evil). 90 And the hell shall be made manifest to the erring ones, 91 "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- 92 Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?" 93 And they will be pitched into it, they and the perverse 94 and the hosts of iblis all together. 95 They shall say while they contend therein: 96 "'By Allah, we were truly in an error manifest, 97 In equating you with the Lord of all the worlds; 98 And none has brought us into error except the Mujrimun [Iblis (Satan) and those of human beings who commit crimes, murderers, polytheists, oppressors, etc.]. 99 We have no one to intercede for us before God 100 nor do we have a truly sincere friend. 101 If only we could return and be among the believers!" 102 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers! 103 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
