The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
