And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 Moses replied: "You shall find me, if Allah wills, patient; and I shall not disobey you in anything." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
