3/4 Hizb 41
< random >
۞ Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things). 54 Upon the day when the Hour is come, the sinners shall swear they have not tarried above an hour; so they were perverted. 55 And those who are given knowledge and faith will say: Certainly you tarried according to the ordinance of Allah till the day of resurrection, so this is the day of resurrection, but you did not know. 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 We have told people various parables in this Quran. Even if you had shown them a miracle, the unbelievers would have said, "You are only the followers of falsehood". 58 Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know. 59 Remain, then, patient in adversity: verily, Gods promise [of resurrection] is true indeed - so let not those who are devoid of all inner certainty disquiet thy mind! 60
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Romans (Al-Room). Sent down in Mecca after The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq) before The Spider (Al-Ankaboot)
