Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
