Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
