۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
