Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
