And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
