Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
