And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
