Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
