And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
