The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky bespangled with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds - for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 Preserved on the guarded tablet. 22
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
