There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur'an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book. 61 Lo! verily the friends of Allah! no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve. 62 Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds). 63 will receive glad news both in this life and in the life hereafter. The words of God do not change. This alone is the supreme triumph 64 Do not let their speech grieve you. All might belongs to Allah. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 Behold! verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie. 66 It is He Who created the night for you so that you may gain rest in it and the day giving sight; indeed in this are signs for the people who heed. 67 They say: God hath taken a son. Hallowed be He - He, the selfesufficient! His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. No warranty is there with you for this. Ascribe ye falsely unto Allah that which ye know not? 68 Tell them (O Muhammad!): 'Indeed those who invent lies against Allah will never prosper. 69 [A brief] enjoyment in this world - and thereafter unto Us they must return: and then We shall let them taste suffering severe as an outcome of their persistent denial of the truth. 70
