And to Allah only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and when the Last Day is established – on that day the followers of falsehood will suffer loss. 27 And you shall see every nation kneeling down; every nation shall be called to its book: today you shall be rewarded for what you did. 28 This, Our record, will speak about you truthfully. We had everything you did recorded in it. 29 So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment. 30 As for the infidels, (it will be said): "Were not My messages read out to you? But you behaved with self-conceit, and became a sinful people. 31 When it was said to you, "God's promise is true: there is no doubt about the Hour," did you not reply, 'We do not know what the Hour is. We think it to be nothing but a conjecture, and we are not convinced'" 32 And [on that Day,] the evil of their doings will become obvious to them, and they will be overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride. 33 And [the word] will be spoken: "Today We shall be oblivious of you as you were oblivious of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]; and so your goal is the fire, and you shall have none to succour you: 34 This is only because you had mocked the revelations of God and the worldly life had deceived you. On this day they will not be taken out of hell, nor will they be granted any favors. 35 So all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the whole Universe. 36 His is the glory in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 37
