Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
