AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
