So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders. 94 The people whom We destroyed can never return to this world 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 On the day when We shall roll up heaven as a scroll is rolled for the writings; as We originated the first creation, so We shall bring it back again -- a promise binding on Us; so We shall do. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 If they turn away, say to them: "I have warned you all alike; and I cannot say whether what you have been promised is near or distant. 109 He knows your spoken words and what you hide. 110 And I do not know if this is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time' 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
