The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
