And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
