۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
