Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
