▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
