And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
