And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
