Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes 11 Who know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
