In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
