Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
