Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication. 45 Then We draw it toward Us with an easy drawing. 46 It is He who made the night a mantle for you, and sleep for repose; and made the day a time for rising. 47 It is He who sends the winds to you with the glad news of His mercy and who sends purifying rain from the sky 48 To quicken a region that was dead, and to give it as drink to animals We have created and to men in plenty. 49 We have indeed turned it about amongst them, so that they may remember; yet most men refuse all but unbelief. 50 Had We willed, We would have raised up a separate Warner in each habitation. 51 hence, do not defer to [the likes and dislikes of] those who deny the truth, but strive hard against them, by means of this [divine writ,] with utmost striving. 52 ۞ And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition. 53 And it is He who created of water a mortal, and made him kindred of blood and marriage; thy Lord is All-powerful. 54 And yet, some people worship, instead of God, things that can neither benefit them nor harm them: thus, he who denies the truth does indeed turn his back on his Sustainer! 55 And We sent thee but as a bearer of glad tidings and warner. 56 Say thou: I ask of you no hire for this, save that whosoever will may take unto his Lord a way. 57 Also trust in the Living One who never dies and glorify Him with His praise. He has sufficient knowledge of the sins of His servants. 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). The Most Beneficent (Allah)! Ask Him (O Prophet Muhammad SAW), (concerning His Qualities, His rising over His Throne, His creations, etc.), as He is Al-Khabir (The All-Knower of everything i.e. Allah). 59 When it is said to them. "Prostrate yourselves before the Merciful," they retort, "What is the Merciful? Would you have us prostrate ourselves before whomsoever you will?" And this invitation only helps to increase their hatred all the more. ۩ 60
