Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
