▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
