The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
